WMP 20 years in Partnership

World Mission Partners (W.M.P.) consists of 5 families (Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Hong Shik Shin, Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Young-Sun Shin, Rev. & Mrs. Yong-Sub Kim, Rev. & Mrs. Jae-Cheon Park, and Rev. & Mrs. Sung-Il Park). On May 22, 2009 they celebrated their 20th year of service here in Thailand along with the CCT. WMP works closely with the 7th district of the CCT.
WMP is involved in 6 main ministries:
(1) theological training ministry by teaching systematic and practical theology as well as church planting and church growth at the Bangkok Institute of Theology, a division of the Christian University,
(2) church planting ministry, planting and supporting 16 churches as of 2009 with Thai national pastors in each church, with a goal of being self supportive (15 in the Bangkok and the metropolitan area and 1 in the Kanchanaburi city,
(3) Thailand Institute of World Missions (TIWM), raising up and training Thai nationals to be future missionaries to neighboring countries, as well as promoting mission awareness among Thai churches through mission related articles,
(4) Diaspora ministry, pastoring the Korean Presbyterian Church of Thailand in Bangkok and challenging her members with a vision for missions by mobilizing them in church planting, scholarship and visiting mission places,
(5) Thailand Mission Partners (TMP), a foundation focusing in the charity and educational ministries for the poor, and
(6) the mission center “Pauline House”, used for weekly meetings (missionaries), monthly meetings (Thai local pastors and missionaries) and various seminars (Thai pastors, Korean church, Korean missionaries in Thailand, etc.), as well as, providing the facilities for community services. Pauline House also houses various guest rooms for seminar leaders and the dining room for the seminar attendees.
